According to the article, if temperatures rise more than 1.5% over the next 12 years, the world will see drought, floods, extreme heat and poverty for hundreds of millions of people. Incidentally, we have already seen the impact of some of this.
The whole world needs to play a part in this, which is why the Government are asking landlords to make rented homes more sustainable.
